Police called to Calverley Road in Tunbridge Wells after alleged sexual assault

A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.

Officers were called to to Calverley Road in Tunbridge Wells at around 4.40am yesterday morning.

It is believed a person was sexually assaulted in the town centre earlier that morning.

A police spokesman said: "A man in his 40s was arrested and has since been released on bail until Friday, November 11."
