Firefighters tackle stables blaze in Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden

Fire crews were called to a blaze that broke out in former stables.

Two fire engines went to Lamberhurst Road, Horsmonden, at about 8.20pm last night, where a range of derelict buildings were well alight.

Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.

Buildings and a mobile home on the site were destroyed by the fire.

Crews remained at the scene to damp down and turn over the debris until around 10pm.
