A 24-year-old man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder following an incident outside a block of flats.

Darren Dennis Lewis, of North Farm Road, Tunbridge Wells, was remanded in custody by Sevenoaks magistrates on Tuesday to re-appear before a judge at Maidstone Crown court on Monday, October 2.

The charge follows an incident in North Farm Road on Saturday night in which a 26-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the stomach and was taken to hospital.
