Three men who were reportedly found in the back of a lorry near Pembury have been interviewed by immigration officers.

Police and the Home Office were called to the A228 at 10.45am yesterday.

Three men from Eritrea were arrested on suspicion of entering the UK illegally.

After being interviewed by immigration officers they must now report regularly to the Home Office while their cases are considered.

A Home Office spokesman said where someone is found to have no right to remain in the UK, action is taken to remove them.
