Man stopped in Ashford after drugs found in car in dangerous condition

A man has been arrested and a car removed from the road following an incident in Ashford.

The 31-year-old was stopped by officers in Long Length just before 9pm last night.

Cannabis was found in the car which has now been prohibited from being driven as it is in a dangerous condition.

Police tweeted pictures of the black Mercedes which was covered in dirt.

The man was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and possession of class B drugs and since been bailed pending further enquiries.
