Ashford Town crashed out of the FA Trophy after a 3-1 first qualifying round defeat at Bognor Regis Town.

The Nuts and Bolts held firm in a lively first half against the Ryman League Premier Division basement boys - relegated from Blue Square South last season - but the home side found a breakthrough in stoppage time to go in 1-0 ahead through Jason Prior.

It was 2-0 within 10 minutes of the restart when Brighton loanee Lewis Ide bent a superb shot past Darren Ibrahim and into the top corner.

Ashford pulled one back after 64 minutes when sub Lee Hockey's long-throw caused havoc in the Rocks box and Joe Fuller, pictured, turned home after a melee.

Mark Lovell made his first Ashford appearance since the first day of last season as a late sub before the home side sealed the win with Prior's second seven minutes from time.

Folkestone Invicta went back to the top of the Ryman League Division 1 South after their goal drought ended with a thrilling 3-2 win against Walton Casuals.

Goals from Josh Vincent and Jimmy Jackson saw the game poised at 2-2 before debutant Pete Williams sealed the points with seven minutes remaining.
