Crash along M20 between junctions 9 and 10

Emergency services are at the scene of a crash on the M20.

A car is understood to have hit the central reservation between junctions 9 and 10 at around 1.45pm.

Debris from the vehicle then flew off and hit driver Luke Barrow, who was in a VW Polo and travelling behind.

Mr Barrow, 21, of Grove Bridge Road, Sellindge, said: "It wasn't bad debris, it was a bit of plastic.

"But the smash seemed quite bad. It bent the barrier."

Police and paramedics were called to the carriageway, although no serious injuries have been reported.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We have one ambulance at the scene of an RTC on the M20 around J9 which was called in at about 1.50pm today.

"There are no reports of serious injuries but we are still on scene."
