Residents are being invited to attend exhibitions being held by Ashford Borough Council to show potential sites for development in the Willesborough, Kennington, Godinton Park, Warren and Singleton areas.

The sites have been shortlisted for potential inclusion in the Urban Sites and Infrastructure Development Plan Document (DPD), which shows areas of the town that could be developed in the future.

There will be two exhibitions, one at the Julie Rose Stadium focusing on sites in and around Willesborough and Kennington, and the other at Godinton Village Hall focusing on the sites in and around Godinton Park, the Warren and Singleton.

The exhibitions are being held on Wednesday January 20 from 5pm to 8pm at the Julie Rose Stadium and Wednesday January 27 from 5.30pm to 8pm at Godinton Village Hall.

Both exhibitions will contain information on all the sites that may be included within the final Urban Sites and Infrastructure plan.

Simon Cole, Policy Manager for Ashford Borough Council, said: "Attendees will be able to view the shortlisted sites and the draft proposals for each of them. Questionnaires and information packs will be available as well as an opportunity to speak to council planners about the proposals."
