Friends of Ben Neilson, who died after an attack in Ashford town centre in April, are holding a charity golf day in his honour.
Ben, from Essella Road, Willesborough, was home from university for the Easter holidays when he was fatally injured. He died in hospital a week later.
Matthew Blake, one of the organisers of the golf day at on August 2 at Etchinghill Golf Club, near Folkestone, said: “Ben was a keen sportsman and very good golfer.
“We feel that this will be a fitting way of remembering him and what he loved.”
