LORD Deedes, who has been in Ashford's William Harvey Hospital since he fractured his leg three weeks ago, is making good progress after a second operation.
The 92-year-old former Fleet Street editor, Ashford MP and Government Minister, hopes to return to his home at Aldington to convalesce in a few days' time.
