Man in 80s flown to London hospital after collision with Mazda MX-5 at Charing Hill

Police are still appealing for information after an accident which left a man in his 80s with serious injuries.

The pedestrian was flown to a London hospital after a collision with a silver Mazda MX-5 in Charing Hill, close to the junction with the A20, at 4pm yesterday.

Police said this morning that the pensioner remains serious ill.

A spokesman said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw the Mazda in the moments leading up to it.”
