Motorcyclist killed in B2070 crash

A motorcyclist was killed after a crash with a car yesterday.

The crash happened on Ashford’s A2070 Bad Munstereifel Road, at the approach to the Hamstreet slip road, just after 5.40pm.

The accident was between a Yamaha R6 motorbike and Peugeot 106 car, causing the rider to come off his bike.

The biker, a 28-year-old local man, was taken to the William Harvey Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The car driver was unhurt. Kent Police in Ashford and the Serious Crash Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses.
