The traffic lights at Junction 10 of the M20 have still not been permanently fixed.

The M20 lights have been working since last week but the Highways Agency says it is not sure if all problems are solved and what has been causing them.

Agency spokesman Stuart Thompson said: “We are continuing to monitor the situation, but we are not yet sure if the fault is fully resolved.

“There have been intermittent problems and we are going through the whole system from scratch to find out what is causing them.”

Some of the 13 signals in the newly-upgraded roundabout have been switching off periodically for the past month.

The £7 million project finished last September, three months late, and the signalling has never run smoothly.
