An assault was reported and damage was caused to the One Stop during the incident.

No injuries were reported and inquiries are ongoing.

The flats above the One Stop shop are set to be refurbished in a bid to deter anti-social behaviour in the area.

The council-funded project - anticipated to cost a total of £310,000 - will see the Court Wurtin properties in South Ashford revamped to improve a "suffering" site.
