Police name biker killed in smash

A MOTORCYCLIST who died in a crash on the A28 near Sarre village on the outskirts of Thanet has been identified.

He was Neil Stuart Wright, aged 41, who lived at Bowens Field, Ashford.

Mr Wright was thrown from his machine during a collision with a yellow Fiat on the road between Canterbury and Margate shortly after 5.30pm on Sunday, December 12.

A post mortem examination has been held at the Queen Mother Hospital, Margate. Mr Wright was identified by his fiancee at the hospital chapel of rest.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact 01622 600970 with information. An inquest will be held.
