Floral tributes at the scene of crash which killed motorbike rider, 21, in Beaver Lane in Ashford

Flowers have been left at the spot where a motorcyclist was killed in a crash.

The 21-year-old biker was declared dead at the scene of the accident at the junction of Beaver Lane and Kither Road in South Ashford yesterday evening.

One bouquet of flowers had a card attached which read: "Ride easy, Bill."

Several police cars and ambulances arrived at the site of the incident, close to the Sure Start Willow Centre, just after 5pm.

The man who was killed was riding a red Honda motorbike when it was involved in a collision with a blue Ford Tourneo.

Police have today issued an urgent appeal for witnesses who saw what happened.

Officers want to hear from anyone who witnessed either vehicle leading up to the collision or who has dashcam footage of the vehicles in the moments before the incident.
