A teenager from Ashford has suffered a terrifying ordeal after a shiny-headed bald man kicked her in the chest and tried to grab her.

The assault on the 16-year-old girl took place in the alleyway behind the BP Garage in Beaver Road at some time between 2.15am and 3.15am on Sunday, May 6.

The girl was alone in the alleyway when the man, seen here in an efit, approached her from the Beaver Road side and kicked her in the chest and tried to grab her.

She managed to run away.

The suspect is described as a white man aged between 30 and 40, of stocky build, 6ft 2in tall with a bald shiny head.

He was wearing a black jumper and his trainers were covered in mud.

The motive for the assault is not yet clear, officers have said.
