A WOMAN was killed after falling from a bridge onto the M20 and being struck by at least one vehicle.

The tragedy happened on the London-bound carriageway at junction 10 at Ashford at about 9am on Monday.

The woman has not yet been named. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The London-bound carriageway was closed while police and other members of the emergency services attended the scene. It was reopened at about 11.40am.
