Kent Wool Growers in Ashford take over Grain Harvester country store in Wingham

An agricultural supply store in Ashford has expanded after taking over a shop in Canterbury.

Kent Wool Growers now run the Grain Harvester country store, off Staple Road, Wingham, which was previously owned by Frontier Agricultural.

The move will see the range of products at the shop increase, to include Barbour, Seeland and Hoggs of Fife, already available at the Ashford KWG store in Tannery Lane. The equine department will expand.

Kent Wool Growers’ managing director Peter Holmes said: “This will increase KWG’s customer base and buying capability. Local farmers will soon benefit from the wide range of animal husbandry.”

The Wingham store will be the new base for Kent Wool Growers' east Kent salesmen Reg Huntley and Alex Louca, who provide additional support to farmers in the area.
