Hythe cup final

Hythe Town Manager Paul Fisk is sure that his side’s recent run of poor results will end on Saturday, in the Premier Division Cup Final against Erith Town at the Buzzlines Stadium.

Hythe have played Erith twice this season, winning 2-1 at Reachfields in November and 3-2 at Avenue Road in March. Fisk is expected yet another close affair. “Our two league games were tight, difficult games. We expect the same on Saturday, especially as Erith are good defensively.”

A cup victory would cap an impressive season for Hythe, a season that saw the team reach the third qualifying round of the FA Cup and finish fourth in the league.

Paul Hyde and Buster Smissen have been confirmed as available for the final, despite carrying knocks which leave them less than 100 percent fit.

Tom Adlington is the only definite absentee, as he serves the final game of his four match suspension.
