He's now been announced as manager of Isthmian South East Cray Valley, taking over from Tommy Osborne who was relieved of his post last Thursday.

McKimm will be joined at Cray by his trusted assistant, Barry Moore. The duo enjoyed eight years together at Tonbridge.

The coaching team will also feature Mark Watson, a former striker who previously played at Sutton, Woking and Aldershot.

Osborne missed out on landing a play-off place for Cray on the final day of the 2022/23 season.

Having previously served as assistant manager, he took over when Kevin Watson left the club in November 2022.

The club said: "The club's committee have decided that a change of manager is required to try and ensure the best possible chance of promotion next season.

"We would like to express our sincere thanks to Tommy for his contribution to the club following his many years of service as a player.coach and manager, and we wish him every success with his future endeavours."

Cray had previously announced that 12 members of the current squad had agreed to remain at the club for the new season.
