Three arrested after two injured in Canterbury brawl

Three men have been arrested after a brawl erupted in the centre of Canterbury.

The incident, which started in St Peter's Street before continuing into St Peter's Grove, took place between 5pm and 6pm on Saturday.

The fight involved two groups of men, and left two people needing medical treatment.

The three suspects - who are aged 19, 33 and 51 - were arrested on suspicion of affray and violent disorder offences.

A police spokesman said: "Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the disturbance.

"We would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the altercation or has any information which could assist the investigation."

The suspects were later released on bail, while carry out enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident.
