Canterbury were steam-rollered by Rosslyn Park 57-17 at Merton Lane on Saturday as the visitors secured a play-off place in National 2 South.

The physicality of the London side swung the game in their favour in the second half after a valiant showing by the home side before the interval.

An injury-hit Canterbury side fielded six players under the age of 20 but a Tom Best try and five points from the boot of Jack Masters left them just a score behind at half-time.

Flanker Sam Rogers pounced on a lineout mistake for a second Canterbury try, converted by Masters, but the visitors ran in five second-half scores to seal a convincing victory.
