A Canterbury woman denied murder when she appeared at Maidstone Crown Court today.

Care worker Lara Doran, of Rosemary Lane, is alleged to have killed 21-year-old Andrew Wilby, of St Stephen's Road, Canterbury, at a flat in Tennyson Avenue, Canterbury, on June 20.

He suffered a single wound to the back and was dead on arrival at the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Margate.

Doran, 22, was remanded in custody until her trial on March 29 next year.
