Car overturns in rush hour crash

The Kent Air Ambulance flew a woman to hospital on Friday morning after she was knocked unconscious when the Land Rover she was driving overturned on the slip road onto Canterbury bound A2 at Bridge.

The woman, in her 40s, had lost control of the vehicle which had tipped over on the grass verge shortly after 8.30am.

She was rescued from the Land Rover by firefighters and paramedics and taken to the QEQM hospital at Margate.
