The family of a man killed in a three-car crash have spoken of his death for the first time.

Ken Milburn, 64, died after his Ford Focus collided with a Ford Transit and Peugeot on the B2046 near Aylesham.

The dad-of-two, who lived in the village, was travelling to work at a truck depot in Lydden when the crash happened at 7.30am on November 10.

Paying tribute to him this week, his family said: “There are so many things we could say about him. “He was one of the best - a great dad, brother and grandad.

“He will be missed by so many. He was a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and was looking forward to his retirement next year.

“It is such a shock that he has now been taken away from his family and friends.

“Life will not be the same without him. His love was so strong and he would help out everyone in his family and was so proud.

“His funeral service was a tribute to how special he was and we would like to say a big thank you to all that attended. We were overwhelmed by the number of friends that paid their respects.”

A 28-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after the crash and released on bail.
