Driver injured as car flips on Herne Bay Road near Sturry

This was the dramatic scene after a car oveturned.

Police and the ambulance service were called to the accident at Herne Bay Road, Canterbury, at 12.51pm today.

Police spokesman Andy Saunders said: "Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene and the driver was taken to hospital with a minor head injury."

No other vehicles were involved.
