'Drunk' punches boy in store

POLICE are appealing for information after a boy of 16 was punched in the face at the Londis shop in Sussex Avenue at Canterbury.

The teenager became involved in a disagreement at around 5pm on Friday, April 21, with a man who appeared to have been drinking.

The man left the scene but returned and punched the boy before chasing him into the shop where a member of the public intervened.

The boy suffered a split lip.
