Faversham boss Ray Turner admits the club may have to be patient before he adds the finishing touches to his squad.

The Lilywhites have moved quickly to strengthen their midfield, with the addition of Darren Marsden and Michael Yianni, but Turner is still looking to bring in some forward players.

He wants his side to be more of a threat in attack next season and has earmarked some players to do that.

Turner (pictured) said: "We went out and targeted a few players and brought them in early but the rest may not be in place until pre-season.

"We are looking at adding strength to the forward areas and we are talking to a few players but nothing is concrete.

"Damian Abel and Dane Luchford were top scorers for us last season but they didn’t score a lot of goals.

"It’s not just the forwards, though. It can be about how the team plays, and we need some different options and different ways of playing and so we are trying to bring a couple of players in.

"I don’t think there will be any more signings in the near future and negotiations could be drawn out."
