A gorse fire covering 200 sq m broke out off Littlebourne Road, Canterbury

Firefighters tackled a gorse blaze that had spread over 200 sq m.

They were called out to the scene off Littlebourne Road, Canterbury, at 8pm yesterday (Tuesday).

Two fire engines, from the Canterbury and Wingham stations, were sent and crews were there for an hour and a half.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
