Football hub comments deadline looms

Time is running out for people to comment on the proposed community football hub at Ridlands Farm, Canterbury.

Friday, September 19, is the deadline for the consultation organised by the city council which says more than 300 people have responded so far.

People living near Ridlands Farm have been sent information through the post, but those further away can have their say by completing an on-line survey at www.canterbury.gov.uk/footballhub or calling 01227 862527 to have one sent in the post.

The results will be used to by the council executive to help make decisons on the location of the hub and what activities and facilities might be provided.

The consultation on any subsequent planning application will take place next year.
