Canterbury drugs arrests after car pulled over in city centre

Four men have been quizzed by police after a stash of drugs and money was found in a car.

The Ford Focus was stopped in Canterbury Lane after it was seen in "suspicious circumstances" in Wincheap and the city's Iron Bar Lane on Friday afternoon.

Five mobile phones, cash, and Class A and B drugs were found in the vehicle and seized.

Four men in the car were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs with intent to supply.

The men, a 22-year-old and 25-year-old from Canterbury and a 22-year-old and a 23-year-old from London, have all been bailed until December 10 while inquiries continue.
