Man and woman cut free following crash

A man and a woman were cut free from cars after a collision on the road between Canterbury and Whitstable on Saturday night.

Two fire crews from Canterbury and one from Whitstable were called to Pean Hill at 6.30pm after the cars collided.

The man and woman were trapped inside each one of the cars and were taken to hospital after being freed.

Ambulances and the police were called to scene with the road shut for most of the evening.

By Sunday morning, the cars had been removed and the road was totally clear of any debris.
