Police appeal after assault in Dickens Avenue in Canterbury

Police are appealing for witnesses and video footage following an assault.

A man in his 20s suffered injuries to his back and leg and during the attack in Canterbury.

On Thursday, October 3, a car was parked in Dickens Avenue at about 9.45pm when a white Vauxhall Astra pulled up alongside it.

A brief conversation took place between the occupants of both vehicles - who were known to one another - before the man was assaulted. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

Witnesses who have not yet come forward are urged to contact Kent Police.

Anyone who saw what happened, has information or has available CCTV or dashcam footage in Dickens Avenue between 8.30pm and 10.30pm should call 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/190517/19.
