Train users faced delays this morning due to signalling problems.

Rail services between Canterbury West and Margate were held up because of the issue.

A Tweet from Southeastern advised those delayed for more than 30 minutes to apply for compensation.

It added: "Services are now on the move following earlier signalling problems at Canterbury West.

"Apologies if you have been delayed as a result."
