Runner attacked while jogging on Herne Bay seafront

A woman was punched in the face while jogging on Herne Bay seafront after a man tried to rob her.

The 23-year-old was running along the promenade in Beacon Hill on Monday, April 1 at around 8pm when she was attacked.

The man grabbed her arm band which contained her mobile phone close to the King's Hall.

She tried to wrestle free but was struck in the face during the struggle causing swelling under her right eye.

The offender is described as a white man, around 5ft 8in, of medium build and was wearing a grey top, a grey hood that was up over his head and dark bottoms.
