It is now understood no one has suffered any serious injury and only minor injuries have been reported.

Highways traffic officers were also been sent to the area and traffic was being held back so the emergency crews could deal with the crash scene.

The carriageway was been closed as a result of the crash, but police left the scene at about 7.30pm when it was established no one was seriously injured.

The smash happened at about 7pm and Highways England tweeted earlier about it.
