Singing Canterbury cabbie delights passengers after belting out Tom Jones track

Some taxi drivers will ask you how your day's been, others will put the radio on for some entertainment.

But if you jump into the cab of one driver in Canterbury – who we know only as Brian – you might get much more than you bargained for.

Cabbie Brian sings to his passengers on night out

Ella Martignetti got into his taxi in Ickham, near Canterbury, last night and, after learning it was her 26th birthday, Brian decided to sing her a song.

Sitting in the cab in awe as she watched him belt out Tom Jones' I'll Never Fall In Love Again, Ella caught the last minute or so of Brian's rendition on camera.

"My partner and I had gone out for a birthday meal then got a taxi back to our Airbnb when our driver mentioned he does karaoke and because it was my birthday he’d sing me a song," Ella said.

"He was so lovely and had a great voice.

"It was a lovely surprise, which made our night."
