Four men charged with shop raid at Londis in Canterbury

A gang of suspected thieves are due in court today charged with burglary following a break-in at Londis in St Dunstan's.

It happened in the early hours of Monday morning when the free-standing cash machine in the convenience store was damaged and money stolen from the till.

Police inquiries led Met Police to Dagenham where four suspects were arrested later the same morning.

Now Petrica Costache, 30 and Gheorghe Dumitru, 33, both from Dagenham, Marian Iordache, 30, from Romford and Adrian Ciobanu, 34, from Evesham have been charged and will appear before Folkestone Magistrates today.
