Boys seen climbing on Tacos Locos roof in Canterbury amid Storm Francis

A shocking video has captured the moment a group of lads dangerously climb on a three-storey Mexican restaurant amid strong winds.

The footage was caught by a shocked onlooker in Canterbury who said one of the boys sat on the ledge of the roof with his legs dangling down.

It happened yesterday at about 5pm amid strong winds caused by Storm Francis which battered the county.

The building is believed to be the popular Tacos Locos restaurant and cocktail bar.

Jasmine Brockman, 29, caught the incident on film and said her "heart was thumping" as she watched them.

"Before this video one of the boys was sat up on the ledge of the roof with his legs dangling down," she said.

She said she was "shocked" - but hoped they had got off safely.

Police were called at 5.20pm to a report three boys had been seen on the roof of a building in St Peter's Street, Canterbury.

A spokesperson said: "Officers attended and carried out a search of the area. The boys were not located."
