Young man kicked and punched in racist attack

POLICE are appealing for information after an 18-year-old man was punched and kicked by three men in a Kent city.

The assault took place on Sturry Road, at the junction of Northgate roundabout, Canterbury.

The victim was racially abused verbally before being attacked. He suffered a black eye.

Two of the offenders are described as white, aged between 20 and 22 and around 6ft tall.

Anyone with information about the attack, which took place between 6pm and 9pm on Tuesday, July 17, is asked to contact police on 01227 868268 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
