CANTERBURY forward Hayley Brown is in line for her first senior international cap.

The 19-year-old student has been named in an 17-strong squad for a one-off Test against newly-crowned world champions Holland in Rotterdam on November 28.

Brown, who has rejoined Canterbury this season after a spell with Clifton, has already represented England at under-21 and B level.

Coach Danny Kerry, who worked with the youngster at Polo Farm, said: "In giving opportunity to Hayley Brown and Hannah Macleod (Leicester) we hope to further increase competition in the forward line."

Goalkeeper Becky Duggan is also included in the party, and will hope to add to her 18 international caps, while forward Cathy Gilliat-Smith is one of two non-travelling reserves.

Canterbury skipper Mel Clewlow was named in the original line-up but withdrew due to work commitments.

The match in Rotterdam will be England’s first since they finished seventh in the Samsung Women’s World Cup in Madrid. They also play Amsterdam in Amsterdam the following day.
