Kent's Amjad Khan is staying on in the West Indies for the remainder of the tour as replacement for injury-jinxed Ryan Sidebottom.

The 28-year-old Danish-born fast bowler making his Test debut in the present final Test match in Trinidad has been added to the one day-squad.

Sidebottom has been ruled out with an achilles tendon problem ending a difficult year for the 30-year-old Nottinghamshire left-arm seamer who has been hit by hip, groin and back problems since last summer.

The call-up will be a boost for Khan who is reflecting on modest figures of 1-111 in 25 overs, including 12 no-balls and two wides.

Khan was later reprimanded for excessive appealing during the innings by the ICC.
