Jonathan Obika scored in the final seconds of injury-time to give Charlton a 2-1 home victory over Leeds on Saturday.

Addicks captain Johnnie Jackson (pictured) broke the deadlock two minutes into the second half, diverting home Andy Hughes’ strike for his 10th goal of the season.

Leeds, with Neil Redfearn in caretaker charge after Neil Warnock quit as manager last week, equalised through former Charlton man Luke Varney.

He levelled nine minutes from time after the Addicks failed to clear Stephen Warnock’s cross, although the hosts were convinced there was a handball in the build-up.

Obika headed home a Rhoys Wiggins cross as Charlton took the points in the sixth minute of injury-time.

The win leaves Charlton 12th in the Championship, seven points clear of the relegation zone.
