A girl who had been reported missing from Dartford has been found safe and well today.

The 12-year-old, from Dartford, was reported missing to police on Friday evening.

At the time officers said they were "growing increasingly concerned for her welfare" and issued an appeal for help in tracing her.

Shania Brazil was found safe and well in Swanscombe on Sunday.

Kent Police have thanked everybody who helped support the appeal for information on her whereabouts.
