Dartford are a win away from a successful defence of their Kent Senior Cup crown after an impressive 3-1 victory against Charlton at Princes Park on Tuesday.

Darts will face Ryman League, Division 1 South Hythe in the final after overcoming an Addicks side including Andy Hughes, Bradley Pritchard, Cedric Evina, Mikel Alonso and Jason Euell in front of a crowd of 1,682.

Lee Burns had already gone close and Lee Noble saw a free-kick tipped over by Nick Pope before Darts took the lead in the 33rd minute when Jack Pallen slid home James Rogers’ cross.

League 1 Charlton were level within two minutes when Adebayo Azeez converted a low cross from Evina, but Darts went back ahead when Noble (pictured) fired in a superb long-range strike six minutes into the second-half.

Darts’ goalkeeper Deren Ibrahim was forced off with a dislocated shoulder on 66 minutes, but substitute Elliot Bradbrook clinched the win four minutes from time.
