Man covered in England flags walks through Dartford and Swanscombe singing Vindaloo ahead of World Cup game against Iran

World Cup fever may not be as hot as it's been in recent years, but one Kent man is showing plenty of spirit ahead of the tournament.

An unknown fan adorned in large England flags has been seen walking around Dartford and Swanscombe blaring out football chants.

The chap, who was draped in red and white flags, has been seen around the towns over the weekend trying to spread the World Cup bug.

One resident said: "He came past mine playing ‘vindaloo’ at 8.30am."

While another added: "I wondered where the really loud music was coming from this morning, thought it was from a car stereo going past but it took so long like the car was going at crawling speed, didn’t realise it was a chap with a trolley."

A third commented: "He’s a happy soul and if it’s what he wants to do, so long as he’s safe to do so though."
The patriotic fan caught the attention of many residents, including Samantha Weeks who said he made her evening.
