Fire in Eynsford High Street

Firefighters dragged burning debris from an outbuilding as they battled to control a blaze last night.

Kent Fire and Rescue service said crews were called to a building alight off Eynsford High Street at 8.52pm.

They said firefighters used drag racks to more large quantities of debris from the outbuilding to access what was described as a "deep-seated" fire.

The blaze was brought under control with hose reel jets and crews were on the scene until just after 10.30pm.
