Dartford’s mini-revival came to an abrupt end at Hyde on Saturday.

Tony Burman’s (pictured) men went into the Blue Square Bet Premier clash unbeaten in their previous four league fixtures.

But after recent wins over big-boys Luton and Wrexham they came unstuck against lowly Hyde.

Infront of the division's lowest gate of the weekend, 475 fans watched on as Hyde strolled to victory.

Scott Hogan smashed home the opener for the hosts on 27 minutes to punctuate a game that had struggled to come to life.

Dartford’s Danny Harris threatened to come up with an equaliser shortly before the interval but a smart challenge from Ben Dennis denied him.

Midway through the second half a second Hyde goal arrived, as Hogan crossed for Matty Blinkhorn and he swept the ball past keeper Marcus Bettinelli.

Hogan also had a hand in the third, as he made his way into the box with seven minutes left and he picked out Louis Almond who did the rest.

The result left the Darts sitting in 12th place. They are in action again on Tuesday, at home to third from bottom Barrow (KO 7.45pm).
