Crash between two HGVs on M25 near Dartford Crossing

Traffic is queuing on the M25 following a crash between two HGVs.

Three out of four lanes were closed on the A282 between junction 1b for for Dartford and junction 2 for Gravesend on the M25.

Traffic officers were called to the scene and a recovery vehicle was brought in to remove the lorries.

There is three miles of congestion on the clockwise carriageway, on the approach, with traffic back to the Dartford bridge.

National Highways says all lanes have reopened on the A282 southbound following the earlier collision and recovery operation.

However there are severe residual delays of two hours above usual journey times, with delays back to J29 in Essex.
